Egeskov Castle

We enjoyed a nice drive through the country to reach Egeskov Castle. We stopped at a cafe or "krog" in the little town of Kværndrup where we managed to order a Danish lunch from a mostly non-English speaking waitress. In addition to touring the castle, we wandered the grounds, including formal gardens, three hedge mazes, a unique "treetop walk", and a big playground. After a few days of mostly overcast skies in Copenhagen, a sunny afternoon in the country was refreshing.
